Well, I wanted to see Hiro, and see him I did. I watched every second right up until Kensei hit him over the head, when he turned bad guy and went to play with the other team. That’s getting a little ahead, let me back up. After they freed her father, Yaeko and Hiro, about to be shot by White Beard’s men, were teleported (via Hiro) to safety. She then figured out that it was Hiro all along who had saved the day, and they share a sweet, and rather comical kiss. Kensei saw them, and this is where the scroll, which Ando is reading in present day, ended. Kensei confronted Hiro about the kiss, and Hiro explained that he and Yaeko “accidentally” fell in love. They decided to go ahead and destroy the guns that White Beard has made, and the next thing you know, Yaeko and her father are being taken by White Beard’s men, and Hiro is hit in the back of the head by Kensei. White Beard’s men then offer Kensei anything he wants, and that’s where we are left for next week.
On the other side of the globe (or of the time continium), Sylar and his riders, Maya and Alejandro have finally reached the border, only to be thwarted by border patrol. Sylar, very enthused with Maya’s “talent” convinces her to use her special gift and kill the patrollers.
She does and Alejandro is very upset, so upset, in fact, that he and Sylar later engage in a fight. Maya stands up for him, and they again decide to stay together, all three of them. Slyer then, when Maya walks away, tells Alejandro, who doesn’t speak English, that he plans to kill them both and take their abilities, and if he does let them live, he will use Maya as his “shiny new toy”.
My favorite story line in this episode was Claire’s. She tried out for cheerleading, but the sassy and *itchy Debbie refused to let her on the team, because she’s not special enough. I loved that one! Anyway, West suggested to Claire that she bring Debbie down a notch, so she found her drunk with the other cheerleaders later that night, and Claire and West staged a “horror” for her to witness. West flew down and grabbed Claire, only to let her drop to the cement steps below. Then he started chasing Debbie. The next thing it showed was a tearful and terrified Debbie relating the story to the police, and telling them that Claire was dead. Of course, she looked like a fool when Claire walked up and asked what was going on. The police found her liquor bottle, and apparently toted her off to jail, and the very next day Claire is named a new cheerleader. Don’t you love it when a plan comes together?
A few other sidelines of the night included Suresh and Bob arguing over giving Monica an injection with the virus in it to see if it would stop her powers. Don’t worry, they kissed and made up and Nikki (or Jessica, who can tell?) was given to Mohinder as his partner. In the meantime, HRK and the Haitian were in Russia to see Ivan, who used to work for the company. They tied him up, took away a little of his memory for cohersion, and asked him where the pictures were. He did finally tell them, only to be blown forever out of the series by HRK himself. By blown away, I mean he shot him. They did find the paintings, and as the show went off, they were trying to figure out what the paintings by the late, great Isaac Mendez actually mean.

Here it is Monday night after Heroes again.
Tonight’s show was a real sit on the edge of your seater. First of all, Peter, even though he looked through the box with all his information, still has not a clue who he is. He did, however, realize his painting abilities, when he painted a mysterious picture of himself and Caitlin in Montreal, at least that’s what they think it was about. Anyway, I was a little disappointed that they used Elle to kill off Caitlin’s brother, he was one of my favorite new characters. And I assume, that Peter got his ability to generate electricity from Elle, since she used that power to kill Ricky.
As for Hiro, I was sorely disappointed that we didn’t get to see much of him. I really hope they invest a little more time in his story line next week. I’m starting to miss that little guy.
As far as Molly, Matt, and Suresh go, Molly is now with the company, you kind of had to see that one coming, and Matt has gone off to find his father, which he and Nathan did, only to find that Parkman senior has a power of his own, which is a great one, but not so much for Parkman and Petrelli. They are left inside a small room to confront their worst fears, and end up unknowingly beating each other half to death. Anyway, Matt finally pulls them both out of it, but by then Parkman senior is long gone, and Molly is still trapped inside her own nightmare.![]()
Suresh, in the meantime, has a confrontation with Nikki/Jessica. While trying to help her escape from the company, she sends him away telling him that she is seeking help for her split personality. So, he heads of to gather the person the company wants brought in, who just happens to be Monica. After she realizes, with Micah’s help, that she is “special” they go out and see just what she can learn. When they return home, a knock at the door produces Suresh, who tells her that he is there to help her understand her new changes.
Probably the best moment of the night was when Matt learned to use mind communication, and realized that he could not only hear others minds, but speak to them as well.
As for the rest of the episode, again, I am disappointed in the lack of Hiro, and really hope that they plan to bring him some action next week. ![]()

Well, Kristen Bell finally shows up on our beloved Heroes on Monday, Oct. 22nd. She debuts in Ireland, looking for Peter. Matt flies to Philly to find his dad, who, by the way is Molly’s “nightmare man”. Micah’s cousin Monica tries to come to grips with her newfound powers (and by the way, I love the new power. It’s great that the writers aren’t having trouble coming up with new powers for the new cast). H.R.G. goes out of his way to help keep his family safe, and Hiro, who we missed on Monday, they should always show Hiro, he is still in 1600’s Japan trying to fix the mess that he caused by tinkling with the past. In the meantime, Ando is trying to figure out what has happened to Hiro. It looks like another blockbuster night. I personally can’t wait.
Incidentally, it looks like Parkman’s father will be played by Alan Blumenfeld. You may remember Blumenfeld as Rabbi David Barans on Gilmore Girls. ![]()

Brilliant! I loved tonight’s episode. See, this is why I can’t wait for Monday’s to come. Heroes just keeps pulling you in more and more. I really like the path that they are taking with Monica. Personally, I love Rey Mysterio and the 619, so that was a real pleaser. I can’t wait to find out what happened all those years ago with the original Heroes. It proves to be a very interesting and shocking realization.
Sylar, by the way is apparently not going good. I didn’t really think that he would. I mean, really, it would completely change the show if Sylar was a good Hero. Who would they make the bad guy? Besides the killer. Whoever he, or she is. Don’t you wonder if it’s West? But then again, he wouldn’t have been there with the original Heroes, so what would he have against them? Very intriguing indeed. I guess we will just have to keep watching, and keep dreading the end of every show. And then keep wishing it were Monday again. This is a vicious cycle. Anyway, now my mind is whirling trying to figure out what Matt’s father has to do with the whole thing. And wondering why it was better for Angela to confess. Now, for next week, we may possibly get to see Peter come back. Well, back to New York anyway. And Kristen Bell starts on the show next week also. So, it is getting better and better. Stay tuned, we’ll bring you updates just as soon as we get them. For now, here’s hoping Monday comes soonJ

Well, it’s Sunday, which means that tomorrow is Heroes night. We should find out more about the mystery killer. Personally, I think that the “new and improved” Sylar is a hoot. I love that he is helpless and has no abilities that he can use right now. Makes you wonder if he will ever get them back. Now, on to tomorrow night’s previews. We will definitely see Monica Dawson, Micah’s cousin, begin to show off some of her abilities. Angela Petrelli will make a confession while new information about the previous generation of Heroes is finally revealed. Matt asks Molly to locate the “boogyman” from her nightmares on a map, and the results are catastrophic. And, suspecting that Claire has a new love interest, H.R.G., or Mr. Bennett , Claire’s dad fears what that means for their futures. And Maya and Alejandra make a grim discovery on the roadside while traveling to America.
Now, that may be a lot of information to take in at once, so just be sure not to miss tomorrow night’s episode. Of course, you can always go to NBC and watch any episodes that you miss, but what is the fun in that? It’s much better to catch it when it first airs, don’ you think?

Well, Sylar is back and with a twist, he can’t do any harm. Well, he did do harm to Candace, but only with a coffee mug. Candace is, or was, the hero who could make things appear however she wanted. If you’ll remember, it was her who held Micah, while looking like Nikki, until the real Nikki rescued him. Really confusing, anyway, Sylar took her powers after he killed her, only he can’t use them. He can’t use any of his powers. Peter, on the other hand is beginning to realize more and more of his. And Claire’s new boyfriend, Wes, was apparently kidnapped by the Company a few years back. He has a big vendetta against “the man with the horn rimmed glasses”. Now, it might just be me, but does it sound like he could be our mystery killer? I mean, he can fly, and he does have a grudge. Oh, and missing picture #8 just happens to show the death of Mr. Bennett. So, since Wes has a grudge against Mr. Bennett…see where I’m going with this? ![]()
Now, let’s talk just a minute about DL. You remember Nikki’s husband and Micah’s father. We can now add him to the “lost heroes” list. When they went to say goodbye, it was at his grave, so apparently the gunshot wound from last season killed him off. It may be a good thing that they’re finding new heroes, they seem to be killing off a lot of them. ![]()
So, for next week here’s where we stand. Peter doesn’t want to know who he is yet, just in case he doesn’t like the truth. Mr. Bennett knows that he’s the #8 murder victim, and Nikki is working with the company in hopes that they will cure her. Maya and Alejandro are still making their way to Suresh, who is living with Parker and Molly, Hiro can’t bring himself to leave ancient Japan just yet, although he did send a message to Ando about his whereabouts. The message was put inside the sword of Kensei back in the 1600’s by Hiro. Ok, that just about does it. Oh, and I can’t wait to see where the thing with Sylar goes. I wonder what will happen if he doesn’t get his powers back. Serves him right, but anyway, until next week…

Well, tomorrow is the night. Sylar is coming back. Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind him coming back, and it seems that he’s been hanging out at the beach somewhere, so he should be well tanned. Anyway, a friend asked me if I though Sylar would come back as a good guy, and Peter would turn to a bad guy, since they are trying to get him to steal and all. I can’t imagine how the story line would go if he did. Boy, his mother would be mortified. But, let’s concentrate on who the mystery killer is, speaking of Angela. She may be the next victim you know. Now, I don’t expect to know after tomorrow night who the killer is, but we may have a little more clue. Feel free to leave us a comment and tell us who you think the killer is. Maybe if we get enough comments, we’ll run a tally and see who everyone thinks it is. That could be very interesting.
Anyway, tomorrow night is Heroes night, and personally, I can’t wait. I would say this is the best season yet, but that would be redundant, since it’s only the second season.
Well, until tomorrow……

Okay, now normally I’m upset when Heroes goes off for the night, but tonight I was Really upset. I mean, first there’s Peter, who may soon remember who he really is. Of course that’s after he becomes a thief. Then, there’s his mother, Angela. What was it that attacked her in the police station? And, ok now I know that some people may think that Rapid Cellular Regeneration is cool, but for Claire to actually CUT OFF HER TOE?? And then Wes in the window watching her. And wouldn’t you know it, he flew off before she had a chance to explain. Seriously, I wonder what their kids would be like. This is shaping up to be a great season for our Heroes. Now, I must admit I was very glad to find out that Mohinder is working with Mr. Bennett. And I was really glad to see the Haitian back in the show. Now, about the missing pictures. There are 7 pictures missing, that will apparently inform us of the next deaths, and how they happen. Isaac Mendez painted them before his demise at the hands of Sylar. But no one knows where they are? And, what about the regeneration of Kensei? Is that the power that is supposed to wreak havoc? Or is there another power that we don’t know about? And just how long is Hiro going to be in the 1600s? And, if you missed the preview of next week’s show, Sylar will be back. It’s just starting, and already we’re on the edges of our seats. It makes me wonder if they’ll sign up for a Season 3? And I wonder what catastrophes will be in store if they do? Oh well, for now Season 2 has me sweating bullets, and it’s only the second show of the season. I can’t wait until next week. Who knew Mondays could be so great?
