Four Months Ago

Okay, so we already knew from last week that the famous Kensei is actually Adam, who was a member of the original heroes. He and Peter hooked up while being held at the company. This week’s episode was to fill us in on what happened from the time that Peter and Nathan flew off, to avoid Peter blowing up NYC, to the present.

So here we go. Peter talked Nathan into dropping him, when it appeared Nathan was being seriously burned. Peter did his blowing up, and then returned to catch Nathan as he was falling to the ground. He then took him to the hospital. This is where Elle comes in. She and Bob captured Peter (Elle gave him a jolt) and took him to the company, promising to help him so that you wouldn’t hurt anyone else. They then used the Haitian to suppress his abilities, and convinced him to take the medication that would eventually leave him powerless. When they put him in his room, guess who was next door…Kensei/Adam. Then, fast forward to two months ago, and Peter and Adam finally start talking. Adam tells him to try to leave, and Bob tells him that he can’t see Nathan right now, because he will only hurt him. So Adam convinces Peter that the company is bad and only trying to keep him from Nathan because they know that Adam’s blood could cure him. Now forward to one month ago, Peter is talking to Elle, and kisses her (which really gives him a jolt - talk about electricity between actors). He then fakes taking his meds, which he has done for the past 5 days, thus regaining his abilities. Then he slips through the wall into Adam’s room, and the two of them slip out of the company. They head to the hospital where Nathan is still badly burned and barely alive. Adam injects a portion of his blood into Nathan, and they watch as he starts to heal. Then they take off so the company can’t find them. Adam tells Peter to meet him at the shop in Montreal and gives him the address. Elle and the Haitian find Peter, and the Haitian chases him onto a loading dock. This is where we learned that the Haitian actually does want to help Peter. Apparently Angela was good to him at some point, and he wants to return the favor. So he gives Peter his necklace (the one he has in Ireland. By the way, he lost his shirt in the chase, which is why he shows up shirtless in Ireland). He then tells Peter that “this is the only way” and takes his memory, then handcuffs him to the box so that he can’t get out and be caught by the company.

And this is how a shirtless and memory-less Peter came to be in Ireland 4 months later.
